The wonderful mix of spices makes our Herb-Roasted Potatoes a surefire hit to go along with pretty much any main dish you've cooked up for the family tonight! But remember, if you are following a diabetes diet, keep your main dish light to offset the carbs from the potatoes.

Where does it show the serving sizes? I haven't seen it on any of the recipes that I just read.

These potatoes sound and look good but I have a question. What is an example of a light main dish that I can serve to offset the carbs? Thank you

I would also like to know what is considered a light main dish. Without knowing this, as a diabetic, I don't think any diabetic should be using this recipe. Can anyone answer this question? Thank you.

Hi there! This recipe, like all of ours, falls within the guidelines that are set by the American Diabetes Association. We recognize that not every person has the same dietary needs and this recipe may not be suitable for all readers. We recommend always speaking with your doctor or nutritionist first to determine what can be included in your meal plan or not. For those who can fit this recipe into their meal plan, we know they will find it as tasty and satisfying as we did when we created it. Thank you for your comment!

How about a nice piece of salmon or some other mild fish

What makes this even better is using olive oil an adding dried rosemary leaves.

Why isn't there a serving size? Diabetics have to have specific portions in order to control the amount of starches, calories, etc. I don't see in any of your recipes the amount of how much a serving size is.

I agree and have wondered the same. I know you can divide the ingredients out but that does not help alot. Knowing that a serving is 1/2 cup or 4 oz, etc.. is a great help. I'm glad to see this data is being included now :)
