What You'll Need

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, washed, trimmed, and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons granulated Splenda
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

What to Do

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 1 inch of water to a boil. Add asparagus and cook 4 to 5 minutes, or until crisp-tender. Do not overcook. Drain and return to saucepan.

  2. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Add mixture to saucepan and cook over medium heat until sauce and asparagus are heated through, stirring occasionally.
