How about just using stevia in the raw since it replaces sugar 1-1.

This was delicious. I don't eat dessert really often but, was really hungry for something with peaches, so I left other carbs out of my day to leave room for a serving and I totally enjoyed it.

What adjustments are needed if using fresh peaches?

Hello! If you're using fresh peaches, just be sure that the peaches are ripe. If they are hard, you will need to increase cooking time. Enjoy!

Made this for Sunday dinner's desert. It was sooooo easy and good! Wonder if it will work for rhubarb if I increase splenda????

Hi Judy, Since this has not been tested in our Test Kitchen we cannot guarantee results. However, we believe this recipe could work with rhubarb as well. Enjoy - and let us know how it turns out!

My doctor would have a pink fit if I put 3/4 cup sugar in a dessert I don't understand how this can be for diabetics?? Sandi in Australia

You are not using 3/4 cup of sugar though. Your using half of that in sugar. Splenda brown sugar has half of the sugar content. So, in essence, your getting 3 tbspns of actual sugar per the entire recipe. Simply make the adjustment on other dinner carbs if you really want the crisp. It's all about adjusting your carb intake and you'll be inline with your program.
