Switch up your burger by substituting ground lamb for beef and adding the flavors of Greece. Cumin, feta cheese, red onion and cilantro take these Greek Lamb Burgers to the next level.

What You'll Need

  • 1 pound lean ground lamb
  • 2 tablespoons red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fat-free feta cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

What to Do

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high. In a large bowl, gently mix all ingredients until combined. Form into 4 burgers.
  2. Grill for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.

How about serving these on a toasted whole-grain bun with lettuce and tomato?
