Ready to change it up? Our Salmon Burger recipe is perfect for lunch or dinner, or anytime you're craving a burger that's on the lighter side of things. Pair this up with your favorite go-along and you'll have a dinner that's not only packed with flavor, but made for a diabetes-diet. 

What You'll Need

  • 1 (14.75) can salmon, drained, flaked
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup finely crushed multi-grain crackers
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

What to Do

  1. In a medium bowl, combine salmon, onion, egg, crushed crackers, dill, and black pepper; mix well.  Form mixture into four patties. 
  2. Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Over medium-low heat, cook patties 6 to 8 minutes or until golden, turning halfway through cooking.
