Different nuts have different nutritional values, and pistachios are among the lowest in saturated fat and cholesterol, so when deciding on a type for snacking, read the package labels to make sure you keep within your own dietary guidelines.

What You'll Need

  • 6 fresh mahi mahi fillets (5 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pistachio nuts
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

What to Do

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degree F.

  2. Place the mahi mahi fillets on a rimmed baking sheet. Season with the lemon juice, nutmeg, pepper, and salt if desired. Top with the pistachio nuts and drizzle with the melted butter.

  3. Bake for 20 to 22 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Serve immediately.
