Can I substitute maple syrup for molasses? How much?

Wouldn't it be nice if they also told you exactly what a serving entailed? Say, like cup each, 28 grams, or whatever it worked out to be? Instead of my having to make it and then measure the entire recipe amount myself and then figuring out how many carbs per cup. /sigh/

Hi there! I just wanted to say again that we are currently in the process of updating all of our recipes to reflect serving size. We thank you for your patience in this matter, and this recipe has since been updated to reflect that the serving size is 1/3 cup. Enjoy!

Absolutely delicious.

I make my baked beans similar to this. I use 2 cans of pork and beans. I saute the onion in margarine and use ketchup instead of tomato sauce. I leave out the syrup and the mustard is the prepared mustard that you use on hot dogs. I also don't use the barbecue sauce. I cook it all on top of the stove and it taste great.

Finally some baked beans I can have! I don't know how many times I've craved baked beans and have looked at the nutrition label on the back of every can of baked beans in the store only to leave empty handed. The carbs are super high! Thanks for this recipe!

My Health pro tells me "Beans are GOOD CARBS"
