Did you know that more cranberries are produced on Cape Cod than anywhere else in the country? And that's just where the original version of this recipe came from. But we've lightened our version up to make it diabetes-friendly. So go ahead and have a slice!

43g of carbs???? I don't understand how this is diabetic friendly when one serve is more carbs than a main meal.

Hi there! While this recipe may be on the higher end of the limits for a diabetic diet, it does fall within the guidelines as set by the American Diabetes Association. All of our recipes meet the standards set by the American Diabetes Association to be considered "diabetic-friendly." I use Craisins or fresh cranberries. You suggest frozen cranberries. Should I use more or less than a cup of cranberries? Will this make a difference in the amount of sugar I use?

Hello! If using fresh cranberries, you should use the same amount listed for frozen cranberries (1 cup), but if using dried cranberries then you should only use about 3/4 cup. The amount of sugar should remain the same. Enjoy!

Hi Joyce. I'm not sure why you would be having trouble accessing your recipe box. I did a test run just now and it worked fine for me. Double check that you are actually signed in, and try again! If the problem persists, let us know and we'll have our IT people look into it.

The nutrition information says 11 grams of sugar per serving. Perhaps you were looking at the wrong line?

this has 1/2 cup of regular sugar, yet the nutrition information says 0 sugar. is that correct?
